<title>GRAPHIC HOMAGE TO ALAN MATHISON TURING</title>
    <link>http://www.visualturing.org/Visual_Turing/index.html</link>
<description>June 23, 2012 is the Centenary of Alan Turing’s birth. Turing's achievements are of great importance to the modern world. Turing is often considered to be the father of modern computer science, bringing together the concept of algorithm and computation. During his relatively brief life, Turing had a unique impact on the history of computer science, artificial intelligence, developmental biology, and the mathematical theory of computability.

This site is an attempt to compile a visual memory of Alan Turing by collecting his publicly available pictures. Each picture is accompanied by a brief comment pertaining to his legacy or a moment in his life.</description>
